Modimolle Multi-Drug Resistant and Extreme Multi-Drug Resistant facility addresses the provisional shortage beds for the appropriate clinical treatment of these affected patients.

– 52 MDR bed, – 10 XDR bed patients are accommodated. In single bed units of a specialized natural ventilation design that minimizes infection through its architecture elements and layout. It is recognised that through a salutogenic design approach the well-being and healing of patients can be improved. This facility has already seen the benefits in the patients’ health and length of stay.
